SPIRIT

One of the main things I have learnt in the journey to healing is that God is concerned about the whole human being. The definition of peace that Jesus continously promises us in the Bible is not our general understanding of peace. “THIS PEACE” refers to wholeness, completeness a putting together of broken pieces, welfare between entities and states. “Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” (John 14:26–27).We human beings are multifaceted and multidimensional and our continous insistence on focusing on one aspect of our humanity will only cause us to be constantly feel like as failures as we neglect the other parts that make us whole. Therefore the aim of this blog is to examine the deep healing of the BODY, SOUL and SPIRIT everything that makes us human and ensuring every aspect is optimized so that we can enjoy the “fullness” of life and peace that has been our promise from God since the inception of time.

Ah, SPIRIT, the part of us that died but has now received through Christ full ressurection and is now able to be connected back to its Creator. Let’s remember a little story dating back to millenia. In the Garden of Eden where a certain man and a certain who shall remain nameless who were being deceived by the scourge of their existence: Lucifer God’s most beautiful being created solely to worship God, but alas who had ideas of his own. The man and woman had been instructed by their Maker, the One who loved them the most to desist from a certain act because if they partook in that act, they would die. The great deceiver came to the woman and twisted Gods’s words to form a “new”, “better”,”brighter” idea which sowed rebellion and disobedience. He asked very simply: did God really say you’d die? Unforntunately for the the woman and like many us, she was playing in fields she had no understanding of, under rules she had no knowledge of and was introduced to an idea that ultimately led to the death of part of her and her husband which was directly connected to the One who knew them best. The One who had all the answers for any dilemnas they may face, who also gave them the right to act in His Stead and and Who loved them best. We find out that they did die, didn’t they? And not only did they die but they gave up their rights, claims and inheritance to certain usurpers until Christ, the Son came and showed the way. I start at the beginning with this story to help us understand that although the spiritual realm is very real, many of us have lost access to the part of ourselves that regulates and ultimately determines how we live in our body and how our minds function. This is the part of ourselves that is most connected to God, the unlimited and uninterrupted connection that enables us to fully embody the people God created when He said  “Let Us make man in Our image, after Our likeness, to rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, and over all the earth itself and every creature that crawls upon it.” So God created man in His own image; in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them.… Genesis 1:26-27. This is the part of us many of us do not yet understand, the part some have understood and manipulated and most erroneously kept dead bythose who claim to know better, who happen to be working under influences they keep hidden. This is the part of us that is mostly ignored or twisted into something “other”, something scary, shrouded in some kind of mystery that is only attainable through means unavailable to most people the cost of which is so high most people would not dare to participate in the free gift of their salvation already paid for by Christ. The dead part of us that has now has the right to comeback to life through Christ our Salvation. “And behold, the veil of the temple was torn into two from top to bottom.” Matthew 27:51
